Hi and welcome to the Year 10 Work Experience 2006 blog.
We want to hear all your stories from Work Experience here, including those before and after you have done your two-week placement.
Were you worried, dreading it, not bothered or really excited about spending two weeks in the 'World of Work'? What was it like to work with adults who you didn't know and who didn't know you? How about getting up and ready on time each day, organising your lunch and travelling to the workplace?

i am going to go to rose cottage nursery i wil be working with hildren 0-4 years i will be changing feeding playing with the children, its the same time i normally have to get up so is fine also i finish at so idnt that bad, i amlooking forward to going and getting away from school, for my dinner i just take my own. Also i love working with children so should be fun!

i am goin to intact electronics for my work experience and i will be helpin the lads out on sites to fit alarms and sensors and other security equipment. i am rlly lookn forward to this as i no all the lads an we r all m8s so it shud b gd im lookin forward to it n i want to prove my self so i can get a part time job der in da summer

I went to Ladybridge Pre School i Really enjoyed my time there nt lukin forward 2 go bck 2 sckool at all gt on wid all the staff and children luved dem all

BWFC was good, I went to Burger King for my dinner most days and had pizza hut`s all you can eat buffet.That`s £3.99 for all the pizza you can eat and a drink for £1.59

i went to saint thomas to work with nursery and reception. i really enjoyed my time there
